Finding Nâ-Kojâ-Abâd

Many moons ago, in a desert far away, a 12th Century Persian Mystic described how life operated on three planes.

There was the realm of body and the senses, the realm of the intellect and thoughts, and an ‘invisible’ universe in between – ‘Nâ-Kojâ-Abâd’.

Translated as the place of both ‘everywhere and nowhere’ it was a critical bridge between the body and senses that revealed the invisible intelligence within and around us.

Hundreds of years later, the neuroscience has caught up.

So can you.

The new science of perception

Centuries after the Persian mystics we now understand that every moment your body receives over 11million bits of information, but only consciously processes 40-50 of those. We are all ‘neurocepting’ far more information about any given situation than we are consciously aware of (Wilson, 2002).

That means we are surrounded by a wealth of information that we can’t ‘see’ and don’t use to our advantage.

Beyond that, as we make our way in the world our neurobiological systems adapt without our awareness, running on invisible – unconscious- algorithms that shape how we receive, interpret and respond to the world (Siegel, 2012).

Just like the currents that pull the sea, or the winds that shape the desert, we can’t see these algorithms directly – but we can feel their impact through our nervous systems (Porges, 2004).

Building on a century of Jungian depth psychology, designed to unearth the hidden gold in each and every one of us, bountiful evidence-backed techniques are emerging for revealing information that is unconsciously stored in our physiology (Dunlea, 2019, Fogel, 2021) and developments in neuroscience are gradually piecing the mechanics of this unconscious processing together (Krieger, 2012, Seth, 2021).

Working with your mind, your senses and the invisible space in-between can help you see these forces more clearly-  fundamentally changing your perception and relationship with any situation you find yourself in.

To tap into this reservoir of potential all we need is the right support and guidance – and that’s what you can find in all the experiences offered by ToTheInvisible®.

ToTheInvisible’s Founder

Founded by Zoe Zambakides, ToTheInvisible® was born to help creative souls yearning to live more serenely and create with calm confidence and ease- by harnessing the invisible forces shaping their success – and without having to get on a meditation mat.

A little note from Zoe

How it all began…

With two decades as a facilitator helping founders and organisations articulate the essence of who they were and set them on a path to success, I started to notice a pattern.

No matter how hard someone was trying to make change happen, some people felt like they were riding the crest of a wave – they made it look easy – whilst others felt like they were being tumbled in it – including myself.

Understanding why has taken me across the globe, traversing multiple disciplines and perspectives – and after years of going deep – transforming my own life beyond anything I could have imagined.

The discovery was clear: reconnecting with the unconscious unlocks a reservoir of creativity, clarity, and confidence far beyond what conscious effort alone can achieve.

Word spread and my client base grew. Clients started asking me for a link to a book to read, or training to take, but everything I had learned didn’t live in a simple form anywhere else. So ToThe Invisible® was born- guiding curious, creative souls into the calm clarity they’ve been waiting for.

If you value the scientist and the poet, want to widen your self-awareness, navigate the next chapter of your life on new terms or unlock the profound wisdom nestled in your unconscious, welcome.

You’ve found a home.

Why this work is so critical

A necessary next-generation approach to personal development

The science is in. Your unconscious neurobiology shapes the way you see the world and influences the people around you.

Understanding this can be the difference between feeling like riding the wave of success with ease—or like endlessly struggling against the tide.

We’re standing at a moment where science is beginning to catch up with the spirit of depth psychology and its approach to transformation.

It’s now clear that perception involves both our body and brain. Learning to access the space in between—like Nâ-Kojâ-Abâd—and to understand its language, is the key to unlocking the unseen information we hold but haven’t yet processed.

This is no longer the domain of vague mysticism, but a space of powerful, scientifically backed transformation—a place for both the seeker and the scientist.

ToTheInvisible® has been built over two decades to distil these learnings into a simple, three-step process—a gateway to transformation that goes beyond what the mind alone can imagine.

The Approach

It was psycho-analyst Carl Jung who – over a century ago – theorised just how deeply and vastly unconscious dynamics shape who we are and how we see the world. Rather than seeing the unconscious as a dark repository for all that we repress, he saw it as a treasure trove of information that could fuel conscious growth.

“We call the unconscious nothing, and yet it is a reality in potentia… Consciousness grows out of the unconscious…The thought we shall think, the deed we shall do, even the fate we shall lament tomorrow, all lie unconscious in our today…Hence we must always reckon with the presence of things not yet discovered”  (C.G. Jung, 1959)

Now the latest developments in understanding our biology and the neuroscience of how we perceive and respond to the world provide much evidence to support Jung’s approach. We perceive the world through the invisible dynamics of our neurobiology (Dr Siegel et al, 1999).

This is where our journey together begins.

It all starts with you: your nervous system, the algorithms that shape how you see and relate to the world and how you work with the mountains of information that you absorb but don’t consciously process.

ToTheInvisible helps you do all of this through present-moment awareness – and really importantly – does it in a way that our systems can genuinely integrate and sustain.

At the core lies the evidence-based belief that every individual possesses an innate ability to regulate, recalibrate and heed the unconscious inclinations to growth and health that whisper to us all. It weaves together systems theory and interpersonal neurobiology with;

  1. Depth psychology’s emphasis on working with unconscious content to fuel personal development (what Jung called Individuation),
  2. Gestalt approaches to working with present moment awareness to work out what really matters right now and integrate fragmented parts of our experiences that have turned into invisible algorithms that shape how we see the world (where the term ‘unfinished business‘ comes from), and
  3. Trauma safe Somatic (Body-Oriented) coaching techniques – learning from ground breaking approaches like Organic Intelligence®, and BodyDreaming® – connects to the information in your whole neurobiological ‘system’ and ensures that you’re always working in the sweet spot that can sustain change over time and open up the window to natural growth and transformation.
  4. Neuro-lingustic programming to help gently rewire any synapses that might be stuck at the right moments.

The sands of life are always moving.
Yet the path unfolds beneath our feet,
if we know how to navigate it.

“I wanted ToTheInvisible to be a multi-sensory approach to self-development. Working beyond the traditional cognitive methods, every offering invites you to engage with the full spectrum of your invisible resources by integrating neurobiology, perception studies and the power of unconscious processing.” – ToTheInvisible's Founder, Zoe
